چکیده

How can health insurance coverage in China be expanded and deepened? How can health insurers keep costs down and ensure high quality care for their members? What role should government have in health insurance in China? These were some of the questions addressed by two critical reviews of the Chinese-language and English-language literatures on rural and urban health insurance in China and abroad.
